Kim Gary Restaurant

Yesterday was a relaxing day, class ended at 12.00pm so me, Ryan, and PeiTyng decided to go hangout at The Mines. We took a rapidKL bus from Sungai Long (outside UTAR) and headed straight to The Mines, where we were very looking forward to having our lunch at Kim Gary.

Yes! Ryan has a 2.0 megapixel camera phone so I can borrow to use it to take pictures on my own now. HAHAHA :D

So we arrived at Kim Gary and went in to take our orders. The design of the place was classy and elegant, got some Hong Kong taste I could tell.

PeiTyng ordered a bowl of sczechuan vegetable soup noodles (don't know if spelled correctly) and a french toast while me and Ryan ordered Baked Pork Chop Rice with Cheese set, which comes with a bowl of LuoSong soup and dessert. As for beverages, me and PeiTyng ordered Kim Gary's famous "Ying Yong" while Ryan ordered lemon juice.

Here is Ryan showing the menu

PeiTyng with menu of Kim Gary's ambassador, Wong Kok promoting some of Kim Gary set lunch.

After a few minutes, the LohSong soup arrived!

... and our beverages, too.

PeiTyng's order wasn't a set so she waited for her bowl of soup noodles to arrive, and so it did, within just a few more minutes.

I was really amazed by the French Toast. It is something ordinary yet special to the taste. First, the crunch, then, the butter and honey, then there's some more peanut butter! You won't be able to imagine the heavenly taste until you try it for yourself.

So, after some minutes later, the Baked Pork Chop Rice with Cheese arrive!

Can you hear it say "Come and Get Me!!" can you? can you?

This is the inside of it. What's really amazing about this dish is it's cheese! Not too much not to little, and it went unexpectedly well with the baked rice.

After finishing our meal, dessert arrived! It was longan pudding for that day. The taste was OK OK lah, nothing special about it.

We were really satisfied with the food. Although the bill was a bit expensive, it was all worthwhile.

PeiTyng satisfied. heehee.

So there you have it, Kim Gary Restaurant from Hong Kong. There are many outlets if you want to try out. There's one in Mid Valley, K Avenue, Jusco Taman Melawati just to name a few. Of course you can always visit this one which was in The Mines.

Brought to you by I,Malaysian! We share, we care.
